i met someone at a gig friday night
the show went to 12 but we stay til 2

and then he told me that he was soon leaving town
we had to catch up again the next day

so when i got home i sent him a text

to my confusion it didn’t go through
cause i think i misheard a digit or two

i used up my data searching his name
or at least a profile picture with his face
and to my despair nothing came up
but infatuation that i had saved up broke me
